He was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina on October 11, 1978 to Libby Ross Foster and the late James Ray Foster.
Ryan graduated from Burns High School, class of 1996. He worked One on One with clients. He was one of the happiest people you would ever want to meet. He was known by many as Pete, Cowboy, PT and his favorite saying was “SO”.
Funeral Service will be Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. There will be a public walk through on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 4:30 until 6:30 P.M.
Survivors are one daughter, Ryauna Hector of Gastonia, NC; three sons, Rayshaun McDowell, Ryan Thompson, Jr., Braxton Thompson all of Kingstown, NC; his mother Libby Foster of Cherryville, NC; one brother, Brannigan Thompson (Angie) of Roswell, GA; three sisters, Libbrattle Twitty (Rodney) of Shelby, NC; Yolanda McDougal (Orlando) of Fayetteville, NC; LaRubia Thompson of Shelby, NC
