Elder Billy Ray Lanier, 75 of Fuquay-Varina, NC passed on February 1, 2022 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Surviving to honor his memory are: his loving wife of 32 years, Geneva; his daughter and caretaker, Quintina Ellis (Lekorey); a son, Billy Andre Lanier; daughter, Marquesha Horton; one special daughter he raised at a young age, Leticha Horton Patterson; two grandson, Rashaud Bailey and Marquell-Davion Horton; granddaughters, Victoria Lanier, Kristen Judd, and Heaven Judd; brothers, Danny Lanier and Thomas Lanier (Beatrice); one sister, Dorothy Cutler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.

Visitation: 12:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Trice Funeral Home, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Funeral will be held 2:00 pm Sunday February 6, 2022 at Redeemed Apostolic Church of Christ, 1480 Purfoy Road in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Immediate family will have first seating. We will follow the churches practice for Covid-19 safety. The service will be live streamed on Redeemed Apostolic Church of Christ facebook page.

Burial: Starlight Memorial Gardens, Lois Lane in Holly Springs, NC.

Mask are required in order to attend the visitation or funeral service.
