Mr. Del Lee Devero was born in Johnson County, GA to the parentage of Dorothy Mae "Doris" Gilmore Devero and the late Ethro O'Neal. Del Lee departed this life Friday, January 28, 2022. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at Faith Memorial C.M.E., 4800 Hwy 1 South, Wadley, GA. Burial will be held in Jefferson Memorial Garden, 5727 US Hwy 1 North, Louisville, GA Del Lee was truly a people person and really enjoyed making people laugh. He was a 1981 graduate of Johnson County High where his team was 1st Place in Basketball and State Championship in football. Del was united in Holy Matrimony March 2000 to the former Eunice Flournoy. He worked on several jobs and enjoyed construction. One job that he enjoyed more than that was his time spent working at Davis Funeral Home. Del is preceded in death by one brothers, Kenneth O'Neal. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Eunice Flournoy Devero, Louisville, GA; his mother: Dorothy "Doris" Devero Gilmore, Wrightsville, GA; his children, Wanda Flournoy (Terrance) Gibbons, Union City, GA, Shodria Brown, Dublin, GA; his siblings, Melvin Devero, Lake City, FL, Ricky (Mary) Devero, Wrightsville, GA, Jacqueline Wright, Bruce Hines Dublin, GA; brothers-in-law, Robert Dixon, Louisville, GA; sisters-in-law, Mary (Joe) Bell, Louisville, GA, Rosa Mae Brown, Wadley, GA; Aunt, Florence Parks, Jacksonville, FL; friend, Dean Bridges and Anthony Williams, Wrightsville, GA; He had a very special relationship with his nieces and nephews all of whom he loved beyond measure.
