Obituary For Ruben Sander Jr.
Ruben Sanders Jr. was born on May 25th 1960 in Barnwell South Carolina. And departed this earth on January 17th 2022. He was raised here in New York City from the tender age of six months old, where his mother relocated from the south. She preceded him in death, and his younger sister Maxine who transitioned in 2008. Ruben worked as a site supervisor @ CEO in lower Manhattan, he ran his own private livery service until he retired a few years ago. He was a firm believer in God, and was baptized at his Church in Port Chester N.Y. He leaves to mourn his father Reuben Senior, one sister Alfreida Sanders, three sons Ruben, Curtis, and Quentyn. And one daughter lmani whom he raised as a single father. Five grandchildren Lil Curtis, Taishaun, Tresaun, Telisha, and Jamayra. He also leaves behind his aunt Bell, Alafair, Selena, and a host of cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Dear Sander Family, I am so sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one, Ruben. Even though I do not know his family personally, I would like to offer my sincere condolences. May you all draw comfort and hope from God's Word the Bible where he promises that, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away" (Rev. 21:4). It is truly comforting to know our loving God will wipe away all things that cause us sadness. His beloved son also promises that, "All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28-29). In the meantime, God assures you, "He is close to all the broken-hearted, and he saves to crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). It is my hope that these promises will give you comfort now, and a real hope for your future. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow.
