Mrs. Gladys Godwin Pittman, of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 A. M. from the sanctuary of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located at 3996 Wintergreen Road, Greenwood, Florida, with Reverend Kevin Williams, Reverend Ira Godwin and the Reverend Luther V. Farmer (pastor) officiating.

Mrs. Pittman will lie in state from 10:00 A. M. until time for the service. Interment in the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 1:00 P. M. to 6:00 P. M. from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home.

Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed for social distancing and the wearing of masks for everyone’s safety during the viewing and the funeral service.

Ira Godwin of Chesapeake, Virginia; Carel (David) Avans of Deltona, Florida; John (Cassandra) Godwin of Augusta, Georgia; Bryant Godwin of Marianna, Florida; Frederick Godwin of Atlanta, Georgia; Mary (Eddie) Baldwin of Greenwood, Florida; Ephriam Godwin of Panama City, Florida ; Lecia (Stedroy) Henry of Palm Bay, Florida; Randy (Linda) Godwin of Blountstown, Florida; Andy (Latasha) Godwin of Greenwood, Florida; Requal (Ben) Golden of Havana, Florida; Shannon Godwin of Greenwood, Florida; Mary Neal-Davis of Tampa, Florida; Willie (Dorothy) Godin of Campbellton, Florida; Lilliemea Williams of Tampa, Florida and Maggie Godwin of Tampa, Florida

One Sister: Dorothy Hill of Jacksonville, Florida

Two Brothers: Andrew and George Johnson both of Marianna, Florida

And a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
