Vickie Pugh Richardson was born November 13, 1953, to Martha B. Mabins. She was adopted and raised by Sandy and Mary Mabins Robinson. Vickie was a 1971 graduate of Luxora High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Business College in Memphis, Tennessee. Vickie was employed at the Arkansas Department of Human Services in the Mississippi County office as an Administrative Supervisor, retiring after 40 years of service. Following her retirement, Vickie moved to Arlington, Texas to be nearer to her sons. Vickie was a warm and loving lady, with a smile that would light up a room and a voice that stirred the spirit. On Sunday, January 30, 2022 Vickie passed away at Methodist Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by her parents Sandy and Mary Robinson, her biological mother Martha B. Luckie, and her brother Barry Luckie. Vickie leaves to forever cherish her memories, two sons, Arthur Pugh, Jr. of Arlington, Texas, and Corey (JaCoi) Pugh, Sr. also of Arlington, Texas; four brothers, Donnell Luckie of Osceola, Arkansas; Glen (Leuada) of Killeen, Texas; Jimmy Luckie of Osceola, Arkansas, and Vonzell (Phyllis) Robinson of Marion, Arkansas; two sisters, Patricia Johnson of Memphis, Tennessee and Nedra (Bobby) Kenoyer of Truman, Arkansas; three adoring grandchildren, Robin Pugh, Kerrington James and Corey Pugh, Jr.; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will begin Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Promiseland Church of God in Christ, 2141 South US Hwy 61, Osceola, Arkansas where Superintendent Johnny L. Moore is the pastor. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Promiseland. Reverend Doctor Lawrence Haley will deliver the eulogy with interment at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
