Mr. Rodney Fitzgerald Rhoades departed this life on Monday, February 7, 2022. He was born on March 7, 1975, to Mrs., Gloria Rhoades, and the late Mr. Joseph Rhoades, Jr. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lizza Rhoades; a brother, Joseph Crawford; grandparents, Frances Blackmon and Harvey Blackmon, Carrie L. Thompson Rhoades and Joseph Rhoades, Sr.

Rodney was self-employed and loved spending time with his children and granddaughter, Na’Moni Rhoades, whom he loved dearly.

Rodney leaves to cherish precious memories, his mother, Mrs. Gloria Rhodes; his siblings, Machella Blackmon, Michael Rhoades, Steven Rhoades, Austin Rhoades, Joseph Stine, Dominique Crawford, and Jahze Crawford, all of High Point, NC; eight children, Kentrell Clark, Montley Rhoades, Travon Rhoades, JaVonte Rhoades, Dontre Brown, Tyquirion Rhoades, Takiayh Rhoades, and Nazaria Bivins; a granddaughter, Na’Moni Rhoades; his special soul mate, Veneshia Harrington; his two ex-wives, Chemicka Rhoades and Rasheda Bivins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Baptist Church Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
