Charles Ervin Mix departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2022, in Greensboro, NC. Charles was born in Kershaw South Carolina on April 29, 1955, to the late Albert Mix, Sr. and Esther Bell Mix.

Charles was a 1973 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School.

Charles served in the United States Army.

Charles was employed as a Patient Care Assistant with Burton Home Care Assisted Living.

Charles leaves fond memories one son, Remey Mix of Greensboro, NC; four brothers, Albert (Ronnie) Mix and Roger Mix of Greensboro, NC, Daniel Mix of Kershaw, SC and Aaron Mix of Pageland, SC; three sisters, Betty Simmons of Philadelphia, PA, Ansonga Scott of Greensboro, NC, and Barbara Moody of Monroe, NC; three grandchildren, Braelyn Miller, Brenden Miller and Mckenzie Mix all of Greensboro, NC; one step grandchild, Kayla Knox of Hull, GA and a special friend, Verlene Wise of Hull, GA.

Graveside Service will be 1: 00 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, in the Highland Heights Cemetery. Funeral Service will be conducted by Reverend Jerusha Gaither and Dr. Waldo Robinson.

Viewing will be 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at the funeral home.
