Bernice Jordan was born Bernice Jacobs on October 1, 1934, in Fort Pierce, FL to the late Willie and Julia Jacobs. Bernice married Rev. Willie “Pete” Jordan and relocated to Connecticut where they resided for nearly 20 years. Bernice was a homemaker, enjoyed raising her children and adored being a grandmother. While in Connecticut the Jordan’s started St. Paul Pentecostal COGIC in Bridgeport, CT. There they served the community by preaching the good news before retiring and eventually moving back to Florida settling in Kissimmee. Lady Jordan was a patient, kind, giving, and loving woman with a passion for God, her family and music. She sang beautifully for the Lord and taught her children and grandchildren to do the same. Inspiring the next generation of musicians. She was good at pretty much anything she set her hands to do. To her family she was a chef, hairdresser, seamstress, and interior designer.

Lady Jordan entered eternal rest on Sunday February 6, 2022.

She is survived by her sons Joseph Eaddy (Evelyn) of Kissimmee, FL, and King Eaddy (Grace) of Bridgeport, CT; daughters, Lolita “Lisa” Jordan-Owens (Ralph) and Natalie Jordan-Nixon (Timothy) of Fort Pierce, Florida; three brothers Willie “Nat” Jacobs, Earnest Jacobs, and Esau Jacobs, and three sisters Julia Mae Wyche, Gloria Willingham, and Betty “Mary” Williams (Edward); 13 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
