Obituary For Leonard Anglin

Leonard “Uncle Nardy” Anglin was born on May 1, 1956 in Harlem Hospital. He resided in Harlem for a few years then moved to The Bronx. He attended P.S. 154, P.S. 49 and Food and Maritime High School. Afterwards, he enlisted into the Army during the Vietnam era.

After the Military, he learned various household and business trades that helped many family members, friends and clients. He was employed with New York City Department of Parks, Parkchester Condominiums, BRANDS Department and Louise and Lillian Family Daycare Center.

He also was a devoted member of Greater File Chapel Baptist church. After excepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, Leonard joined the choir. He Loved to sing Zion Songs.

Leonard was caring, funny, helpful, honest and talented. He always kept the party going and will be tremendously missed.

Proceeding Leonard in death are his parents Lillian and Lawrence, and his sister Sharon. He is survived by his wife Venice Anglin; His three sons Chamar, Omar Rashard and daughter Quinell; His siblings Lawrence Anglin , Deborah Anglin, David Anglin, and Cynthia Anglin. His grandchildren Chaylen Anglin , Cayden Anglin , Janae Dorismond, Chance Anglin, Tae’den Conard, Jaylenn Dorismond, and Shariya Petersen; His nieces and nephews; and his grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
