Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Keith James, officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Pittsview, AL. Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Stacy L. James was born October 5, 1971 to Annie Laney and the late Johnny B. James of Ft. Mitchell, AL.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Diane Jackson.
She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Baptist Church in Holy Trinity, Alabama. Stacy graduated with the class of 1989 from Chavala High School in Seale, AL. After graduating high school, Stacy went onto receive her Associates Degree from Meadows College.
Stacy was an employee of Walmart for 16 years and it is there where she gained her second family. Stacy definitely didn’t know a stranger. Her personality, sense of humor and trash talking would always keep you laughing most definitely. Green was Stacy’s favorite color and she loved anything Mickey Mouse, eating Pistachios, shopping, spending time with family and most of all helping others! Let’s not forget she was a die-hard Alabama Roll Tide fan!!
She leaves to cherish a devoted and loving mother, Annie Laney; five sisters, Josephine Horace, Doris Ford, Tracey Ford, Vanessa Griggs, and Lisa Jackson; three brothers, Steven Ford, Gregory James, and Kenneth James, along with a hosts of other family and friends.
