Homecoming celebration will be held 11am Sat. Feb 12, 2022 at Bushelon Funeral Chapel.

VISITATION 1pm-6pm Fri. Feb. 11, 2022 at Bushelon.

PRIVATE INTERMENT Repast immediately following service at Mitchell Manor 1330 4th Avenue SW Bessemer, Alabama 35022 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Amelia Crenshaw Redd gained eternal life on February 2, 2022. She was born to the union of the late Mr. George and Annie Mae Portis Crenshaw on December 3, 1947, in Birmingham, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish in memory: one son, Jermaine Redd; two daughters, Tyesha Reed (Darvin) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Natasha Everett of Laurel, Maryland; the father of her three children, Donald Redd; one sister, Jacqueline Moore of Mobile, Alabama; two brothers, Robert and Henry Crenshaw, both of Birmingham, Alabama; four grandchildren, Markese (Alyssa - expecting great-granddaughter, Ailani), Makayla, Jirah, and Myran; four devoted lifelong friends, Shirley Beck of Birmingham, Alabama, Carolyn Hicks Williams of Houston, Texas, Brenda Mardis of Chicago, Illinois, and Shellane Day of Birmingham, Alabama; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Natasha I'm praying for you and your Family. I was told tonight that the number 2 mean your an angel and your mom passed on 02-2-2022 and you can bet that your husband Derek was there with open arms waiting for your mom an beautiful angel. I'm here for you and Jari because I do know how it feel to lose your mom. When your mom came up from Alabama that time at the salon and she got her haircut when I had to do your hair she just lit up the salon like a beautiful angel, her personality was so vibrant, may your mom rest in peace.our be waiting for you guy's to come back to Maryland.
