Faye attended Adamsville School in South Carolina. After relocating to High Point, NC with her family, she attended High Point City Schools. Faye was a faithful employee of Slane Hosiery before becoming disabled.
Faye loved God and church. Even though failing health prevented her from attending worship services in person, she enjoyed virtual services. She especially stayed tuned into World Changers Church International with Pastor Creflo Dollar, among other ministries. She was always thankful for the technology that allowed her to stay in the Word of God.
Faye is survived by two sons, Jonathan Spears (Sherivian) and Rayshawn Spears (Karesha); first expected grandchild, Baby Spears due in mid-August 2022; brothers, Calvin Spears, and Craven Spears (Tammy), both of High Point, NC; sisters, Brenda Spears of High Point. NC and Diane Hayes of Laurinburg, NC; special niece, Regina Spears of High Point, NC: special nephews, Arthur Lee Spears, Jr., and Tyrone Spears, both of High Point, NC; god-grandsons, Noah Quick of Houston, TX and Little Jonathan Staton of High Point, NC; best friends, Cynthia Nelson of Charlotte, NC, Cynthia Quick, Deborah Baldwin, Gloria smith and Joann Osborne all of High Point, NC; nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, other relatives, and friends.
Faye's favorite phrase that she recited daily was "I'm blessed and highly favored. God got me." Yes, God has her!
