Her service is 9:22AM Monday, February 21, 2022 at New Beginning Faith Ministry 30 Park Lane, Havelock, NC. Burial will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her father, Clarence Ward, Hampton, VA; mother, Hattie Dawson Simpson, New Bern; sister, Ashley Ward, Hampton, VA; maternal grandparents, Ernestine Fonville and Richard Fonville.
