OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Nora Griffin, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery in Plaisance, LA. Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Griffin’s memories are being cherished by: three brothers, Nelson Zachary, Sr. of Lawtell, LA, John Zachary of Shreveport, LA and David Zachary of Lake Charles, LA; two sisters, Celine King (Paul) of Pineville, LA and Emma Zachary of Bridge Port, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Melvin Griffin; her parents, Ervin and Laura Chenier Zachary; seven brothers, Morris Zachary, Earl Zachary, Francis Zachary, Walter Zachary, Paul Wayne Zachary, Sammy Zachary and Ervin Zachary, Jr.; and three sisters, Joyce Zachary, Sherlene Zachary and Joann Zachary.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
