I recently became part of the 24:7 small group at MUMC, and met Francina for the first time in November 2021, when our group went to celebrate her birthday at the nursing center where she was undergoing rehab. I loved her immediately , with her bright eyes and sweet smile. I will remember that smile and joy as we sang and shared with her, and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven. Lindy Stahlman

Francina (Fran) was a beautiful Servant of Her Lord and Savior. I have known her for almost her entire 20-plus years of living in McCormick. Until her health declined, she participated regularly in Bible study and social meals and events of the 24:7 Small Group of McCormick United Methodist Church. For quite some time during her residency in McCormick, Fran used her own vehicle to help her neighbors out with transportation needs. Fran's favorite color was blue, so I choose a beautiful blue candle that is lit with the Love of Jesus that always shone in Fran's life - though we will miss her beautiful smile, we know she is smiling down on us from Heaven! - Linda Kidd
