Obituary For Mrs. Eddie L. Cole

Ms. Eddie Lee Howard Cole, 65, of Panama City, gained her heavenly wings on February 20, 2022 in Panama City.

She graduated from Ft Mead High School, Ft. Mead, FL. In 1973. She later moved to Panama City, Fl where she worked for the school board for 40 plus years @ Jenks middle school as a cafeteria worker plus custodian until she retired.

She joined Macedonia in 1976 and served on the Usher Board for a host of years.

She leaves treasured memories with two sons, William Cole and Lance Johnston and his Wife (Tracy); siblings, Jimmy Howard (Mary), Bennie Howard (Virgilia), Lillian Janet Walters (Ralph) McKinley Howard. Ella Howard. seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be Fri., Mar.4th at Battle Mortuary from 5-7p.m.

A Solemn Farewell will be Sat., Mar. 5th at 11a.m. at New Beginning Assembly of the Saints. Burial to follow in the Redwood Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary of Panama City.

Eddie was one of the sweetest ladies I knew. She was a faithful and hard worker. When I was a teacher at Jinks, she'd let me know when she'd be making her best-ever cheese grits!
