Mr. Derak Janes, 60 of Adair County, KY, died on February 20, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

Mr. Janes was a native of Columbia, KY and the son of the late Cody & Joyce Janes. Mr. Janes was a Christian who worked in the oil industry and enjoyed hunting, fishing and Bible Study.

Survivors include his son, Nicholas Thomas Janes (Eden) of Bowling Green, KY; one brother, Roger Allen Janes of Columbia, KY and one grandchild on the way.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
