Henry "Sweentin" Booker transitioned from this life to his heavenly home on February 18, 2022 at Avalon Alive Hospice in Franklin, Tennessee. Henry was born on January 9, 1939 in Franklin, Tennessee to the parents of Eugene Booker and Alice Scruggs.

He leaves to cherish his memory, loving and devoted son Henry E. (Chatiqua) Booker, Jr; grandchildren, Stardeshia (Jamil) Lynn, Tekeisha (Lamar) Everett, Samantha (Jason) Watson, Joseph (Dominique) Booker, Jasmine Booker, Shaniquq (Marvin) Smith and Xavier Booker; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, William C. (Eva Sue) Booker and Darhyll E. (Linda Ann) Booker; sister, Lou Ella Booker Grimes; sister-in-law, Martha Scruggs; devoted friends, Bud Davis, Orlando Wade, Devoted cousin, Susie Coure (Li Susie) and the New Town Crew a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and other friends.

Mr. Booker will lie in state on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 11-12 at Lynn Creek Tabernacle, 117 Fairground Street with funeral to follow. Elder James Coure, officiating and Pastor Dennis Smith, eulogist.
