Lillie Mae Jones was born September 27, 1938 in Jacksonville, Florida to Frederick Lewis, Sr. and Mary Lewis. In 1957, she married Harris Jones, Sr. in Wayland, New York where she lived for more than 40 years. As the loving wife and matriarch of her family, Lillie was an avid gardener, home cook, and champion bowler. She was a devout Christian and long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church in St. Augustine, Florida. Lillie was admired for her hard work and twenty-year dedication to the Gunlock Chair Company in Wayland, New York from which retired in 1996.

Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Harris Jones, Sr., Lillie leaves to cherish her memory children: Darrow Kenneth Jones (Chris) of Farmington, New York; Cynthia Estella Jones of Rochester, New York ; Harris Jones, Jr. (Diann) of Lithonia, Georgia; Barbara Ann Jones of Rochester, New York, Annette Leverne Jones of Anchorage, Alaska, and Lynette Dena Jones of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida; siblings: Dorothy Robinson, Peter Lewis, and Frederick Lewis, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren: Harris Jones, III; Kenneth Stewart Griffin, Jr.; Frederick Lynn Jones; Melissa Anne Jones; Brandon Travis Jones; Avery Fowler; Briana Alexis Jones; Brooke Nicole Jones; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
