Tangela L. Bartee

On February 11, 2022, Mrs. Tangela Levatte Bartee was called home to live in the internal Kingdom of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born August 09, 1972 to the late Willie Lee Goins (2021) and the late Betty G. McKinnon (2014). She received her educational background from Brooks County School System. She proudly served as an educator in the Brooks County School system for 17 plus years. She also served as a deaconess and usher at New Vision Ministry By Faith, Thomasville, GA since May 2016.

She was preceded in death by her brother Bruce Copeland (2019) and granddaughter Adaeze Nyagbolo (2020).

The loving memory of Tangela will live on through her loved ones; her loving husband and best friend, James Bartee (Quitman, GA) her children: Keaton Goins(Valdosta,GA), Kelsey Goins (Valdosta,GA), Jameshia Bartee (Atlanta,GA), Jamie Bartee (Quitman,GA). Her siblings: Otis McKinnon (Andrea), Carolyn Johnson (Sereko), Wanda Smith (Jeffrey), Tanglenikia Harris, Brian Goings( South Carolina), Shannon Knight (Trenton, NJ), and Todd (NJ). She had four devoted mothers Diane Goins(Ewing, New Jersey), Elnora Bartee (Quitman,GA), Mattie Goins(Boston,GA), Marie Goings (South Carolina). She cherished her role as a grandmother to 8 grandkids whom she adored. Tangela lived a beautiful life filled with lots of love and great memories whom she shared with a host of nieces, nephews, close friends, relatives, and colleagues.

Celebration of Life Service for Tangela L. Bartee will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Pineview Cemetery, Adel Highway, Morven, Georgia.

Family Visitation: Friday, February 27, 2022 from 7:30-8:30 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel. Professional Services entrusted to Blankumsee, Thomas & Wright Funeral Services of Quitman, Georgia.
