Charles Ray “Charlie” Cross, 76 of Bowie, TX, passed away Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 in Henrietta, TX.

Graveside services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25th, at Vashti Cemetery in Vashti, TX, with Richard Shahan officiating.

Family will receive friends from 11:30 to 1:00, prior to the service on Friday, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.

Charley was born January 20, 1946 to Charley and Estelle Cross. He graduated from Bellevue High School, and went on to serve his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked throughout his life in the oilfield and as a truck driver.

Charlie is survived by his daughters Alona Wilson and husband Rowdy of Fort Worth, and Angela Horton and husband Richey of Bellevue; grandchildren Brett Nelson of Burleson, TX and Bethany Rhoades and Family of Bowie; sister Charlene Reardon of River Oaks, TX and his beloved pet Murphy.
