Maria Christina Romo was born January 16, 1959 in Lake Hammond, Indiana. She later moved to Denton, TX in the late 1970's with her late father Melquiades Zamudio and her later mother Trinidad Zamudio.
Ms. Romo was known as a devoted single mother who raised nine children. She dedicated her life to always putting her children first before herself, she was also known as an amazing grandmother who loved and cared dearly for her grandchildren.
Maria was known as a second mother and always opened her door to anyone in need.
She leaves behind her brother Melquiades Zamudio, JR, sons Luis Enrique Romo, Stephen Romo, Miguel Angel Romo, Jose Refugio Romo, Eduardo Romo daughters Maria Isabel Romo, Angelica Maria Romo, Alma Patricia Romo, Margarita Romo, Victoria Portillo, and Yvette Romo. She was very blessed with twenty-nine grandchildren.
She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
