Drucilla Pilson Penn transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at SOVAH Health-Martinsville. Born June 24, 1946, in Martinsville, VA, she was the daughter of Curtis Pilson and Evelyn France Jones.

In addition to her parents, Drucilla was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Penn.

Those left to cherish her memory include: one daughter, Patricia Landry and her husband, Andrus of Woodbridge, VA; three sons, Monte Pilson of Martinsville, VA, Olander Pilson of Atlanta, GA, and Timothy Penn of Chicago, IL; one sister, Yvonne Collins of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 12 noon at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet East Christian Church Cemetery, 3611 Spencer-Preston Rd., Spencer, VA. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
