Mrs. Doris Taylor Wade was born on April 27, 1942, in Dooly County, Georgia to the late Emzley Taylor and the late Carrie Lee Billingslea. Sister Wade took the Savior’s hand when she heard him call on March 4, 2022. She attended public school in Dooly County, Georgia. At a young age she joined the Camp Creek Baptist Church and served actively on the missionary board and the senior choir until her health began to fail. She was united in holy matrimony to Zebbie D. Wade, Sr., in July of 1958 and to this lovely union six children were born. Sister Doris Wade was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Zebbie D. Wade, Sr.; and her siblings, Areathea (Rubin) Kendricks, Grady (Lillie Mae) Taylor, Hester (Clarence) Lawson, Earnest (Angel B) Taylor, Helen Fann, Emma (Robert) Fluellen, Robert (Lois) Taylor, Isabella Grace, Bernice (Willie B) Wade, and Geraldine Taylor. Doris leaves to celebrate her life: six children, Nancy Wade, Angela Travis, Zebedee Wade, Jr, Eutina Clark, Serita (Anthony) Taylor, and Cli on (Se’Ra) Wade; eight grandchildren, Shatorria Wade, DeAngelous Brown, Kierra Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Jr., Bryan Clark, Zebedee Wade III, Brandon Wade, and Joshua Clark; a great-grandchild, Tommy Lee III; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many sorrowing friends.

Everyone in attendance is asked to wear a mask.

Final rites have been entrusted to Coes Funeral Home, Unadilla.
