Viewing will be Monday, March 14, 2022 12noon-6:00pm at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel. Robert Lewis (Moe, Mayo J) Harrison was called home to glory on the afternoon of March 7, 2022 at the age of 74 while being surrounded by family. Robert was born December 3, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia where he graduated from Carver High School. He was baptized at Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church. He loved to tell jokes to make everyone laugh. As a child, his hobbies included catching birds and nurturing them back to health and shooting marbles and playing craps. His hobbies carried over into adulthood as he was a professional gambler after he retired from Citizens Trust Bank of 20 years. Looking past his hard exterior, he was very caring and generous and made sure that no one ever went without. He had a love for cars and wanted everyone to have a clean car once they left the house. He is preceded in death by his mother Floria Mae Harrison and father John Robert Harrison, his brother Lee Boy Harrison, John Robert Harrison, Larry Jean Walker and sister Mable Harrison and son Dequlius Yarnez Douglas. He leave to cherish his memories his wife Sadie Douglas, his children: Cynthia (Cynt) Douglas-Johnson (Darrell Johnson), Jerome Douglas, and Kawaii Douglas, his siblings: Alvin Walker, Cynthia Holmes (Keith Holmes), Shirley (Bay-Bay) Okafor (Ike), Sharon Hardaway (Charles), and Bonnie Harrison, grandchildren: Dontavious Douglas, Kenyatta Johnson, Brittany Douglas, Tytaina Douglas, Bre’Onna Johnson, and Xavier Douglas and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends. Although he was a man of few words, he made sure to tell you β€œHave a nice day.” Rest well and a job well done.

Words can not express the way I feel. Ann has been my bestfriend for over 30 yrs. and I've known him about that long, I use to say I've never met anyone who carried on like them but she always said I love my brother he is my baby. It's hard now and it's not right but it's ok and I need her too know that it's ok not to be ok. I love you my friend for over 30yrs and as always I'm here for you as you have been for me. Always Renee
