Calvin James Curry or “CC” as he was affectionately known, was born December 21, 1957 and departed this life on Monday; March 14, 2022 at Alexandria Place, Gastonia, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Luther James “LJ” and Pearl McClure Curry.

He was educated in the Gaston County School system. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his nephews. CC worked for the city of Gastonia until his health started failing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Tommy, Roberta and Denise Curry who were all from Gastonia, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories to his sister: Barbara Curry McMiller and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday; March 23, 2022 from 5 until 7
