Rodney Mattox Jr. (75) was born on April 3, 1947 to Rodney Mattox and Hattie Lois Powers in Lexington, Ga. He passed on March 15, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Karl “KC” Mattox and one nephew Tito Adkins.

He attended schooling in Oglethorpe County and Springfield, Mass. He worked several jobs including construction and was a great cook.

He leaves behind his sister: May Mattox-Faust and brother-in-law James Faust.

Nieces: Toni Adkins, Shannon Hill, Sherry Maddox & Hattie Maddox Nephews: Roy Adkins, Tobin Askins, Keith Maddox & Michael Maddox

Great nephews: Sean Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Takwan Johnson, Kristopher Jenkins, Nicholas Maddox and Reginald Hill.

Great nieces: Jada and Deilia Johnson; Angel, Anyiah, Symorah, Mikeisha and Isaih Maddox.
