Mr. Richard Brooks, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his residence in Marianna, Florida.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home Chapel located at 4265 Saint Andrews Street Marianna, FL 32448 with Reverend Ruben Merritt and Reverend Douglas Jones, officiating. Interment in Nubbing Ridge Cemetery in Greenwood, Florida.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P. M. at Vann Funeral Home.

Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed for social distancing and wearing of masks for everyone’s safety during the viewing and the funeral service.

Mr. Brooks leaves to celebrate a life of lasting love and memories, a loving and devoted family:

Six Sisters: Louise Speights, Lucille Speights, Willie Mae (Lonnie) Holden, Verlene (Damon) Sylvester and Lillie Brooks all of Marianna, FL and Elizabeth Davis of Greenwood, FL One Brother: Thomas Brooks of Houston, TX

Two Sisters-in-law: Annette Hazelton of Tallahassee, FL and Bernice Hayes of Marianna, FL

And a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
