Peggy Jean Haynes Bell was born August 1, 1953 in Harlem, New York to the late Willie Ray Haynes and Willie Mae Davis.

She attended the Colquitt County School system.

Peggy confessed to Christ at an early age. She later joined Greater Newton Grove Cathedral. Over the years, she worked in the produce industry.

Peggy didn't meet any strangers. During her spare time, she enjoyed talking trash, cooking, babysitting, and nurturing her flowers. "Peggy kids were her world".

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ray Haynes and Willie Mae Davis; one brother, John Haynes; one sister, Debra Haynes; and one granddaughter, McKenzie Bell.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted boyfriend, Leon Spradley of Moultrie, GA; one son, David Bell of Quitman, GA; two daughters, Dr. Tracy Bell, Ph.D. of Maryland, and Tammy Bell of Moultrie, GA; four sisters, Lila Mae Haynes of Moultrie, GA, Agnes Lucas, Teretha Haynes both from Sparks, GA, and Annie Mae Gray of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, DJ, Redbone, Daebrianna, Devin, Tyler, Sincere, Mi' Honiss, Khaloni, Khalan, Cali, and Ty; one great grandson; one sister-in-law, Barbowa Moreland: and two special friends, Ty Breland and Dorothy McNeal of Moultrie, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life will be Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 3PM at Greater Newton Grove Cathedral with Rev. Cornelius Ponder, eulogist. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Church cemetery in Pavo.
