Obituary For James Quincy Yon

Mr. James Quincy Yon, of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Monday, March 28, 2022, in Gulf Coast Medical Center, in Panama City, Florida.

He was a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Blountstown, Florida.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. from the sanctuary of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church located at 16345 River Street in Blountstown, Florida, with Pastor, Rev. Dr. C.L. Wilson and Minister Albert Yon, officiating.

Mr. Yon will lie in state from 10:00 A. M. until time for the service.

Interment in the Magnolia Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home.

Center for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed for social distancing and wearing of masks for everyone’s safety during the viewing and the funeral service.

Mr. Yon leaves to celebrate a life of lasting love and memories, a loving and devoted family:

Three Sons: Andre Peaden of PA; James Peaden of Orange, New Jersey and James Clay Sr. of Elizabeth, New Jersey

One Grandson: James Clay Jr. of Elizabeth, New Jersey

Three Sisters: Carolyn Yon of Lynn Haven, Florida; Deborah (Bobby) Yon-Hammond of Blountstown, Florida and Clover (John) Bennett of West Palm Beach, Florida

Three Brothers: Herman Yon of Blountstown, Florida; Albert (Marilyn) Yon of Chipley, Florida and Michael (Laverl) Yon of Clarksburg, Maryland

And a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
