Obituary For Mrs. Deloise Ann Sands

In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Deloise Ann Sands. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 09, 2022 11:00 am at Rehab Cathedral of Atlanta 2589 Tilson Road Decatur, GA. Entombment will be held at Lincoln Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, April 09, 2022 12:00noon- 6:00pm.Deloise (Ms. Dee) Sands was born on May 5, 1955 in Bainbridge, GA to Horace Glasper and Rosa Lee Outler with the assistance of midwife. Deloise joined the Lord on March 29, 2022 in the comfort of her own home with her husband Jerome Sands after a brief battle with cirrhosis liver. Deloise attended Miami Jackson High School and performed various jobs throughout her life but most recently dedicated her life to foster care. She enjoyed praying, cooking, worshipping, shopping and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerome Sands; daughter, Jamila Ghent; son, Lindsey Sands; granddaughters, Stephanie Watson, Charisma Feldman and Nova Sands; grandsons, Dawan Sands and Elwyn Meadows; great grandchildren, Jamari Meadows, Isaiah Riley and Elijah Dean Watson; sister, Gwen Glasper; brothers Tyrone Scott and Thomas Pennington; nieces, nephews and cousin, Alfrenece Glasper, Dionne Brown, Alexandria Glasper, Tyrone Scott, Jr, and Katrina Glasper and a host of other family and friends.
