Bernice sorry for your loss of Ricky. Remember, God is with you during these coming days and months ahead. Rely on God for strength, peace and comfort. We question why, but God makes no mistakes. Rick is in the present of God and he's in God's arms now at peace. Friend for Life..... Carrie

I met Ricky through my dear friend Bernice his wife. She and I worked together at DART, where she met Rick. And I met Rick while he was trying to catch her. Literally he would be trying to find what bus she would be on. He was so adorable asking if I knew what bus she was on that day! Then as the years passed my husband and Ricky became friends. You would have never thought they would have become such good friends. Twenty years later they remained advocates for each other. Rick never entered a room without a big smile. I would laugh when he would have to duct to come into a house! Bigger than life. And always he would give me a hug I felt so tiny next him. You will be missed and life just won't be as much fun without you in it!

My condolences Ricky was always smiling you never saw him without that smile on his face and wearing those sun glasses. He will be missed. Love cousin Paula Malone4

Growing up together in Abbeville, MS, Ricky was the closest thing to a brother that I knew. I've been reflecting on the times we played together as kids pretending to build roads with our Tonka toys, riding our bicycles, and pretending to be cowboys and Indians. There far too many memories to record here, however, they will always be kept near and dear to my heart. The world will miss your enthusiastic spirit, your charm and laughter, and all the other attributes that made you - uniquely - "Slick Rick". May your soul rest in peace. Paul Malone, aka Cousin Mayne.
