MELVILLE - Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Sweet Home Cemetery in Melville, LA for Mr. Gerald Joseph Jackson, affectionately known by his family and friends as “Joe”, 64, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at The Carpenter’s House in Baton Rouge, LA. Interment will immediately follow the graveside service.

Mr. Jackson’s memories are being cherished by: his wife, Veronica Chambers Jackson of Melville, LA; two sons, Anthony Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA and Tyrus Jackson of California; three daughters, Shawanda Mason, Sherica Adams and Allison Jackson; six brothers, Roland Christopher (Valeria), Warren Thomas, Curtis Thomas, Author Jerome Jackson, Aristell Jackson and Leon Thomas; five sisters, Audrey Jackson, Lillian Jackson, Paulette Jackson (Riche), Mary Frances Thomas and Theresa Williams; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aristelle Thomas, Sr. and Janie Mae Jackson.
