Mr. Toriano Cornelius Lockett

Mr. Toriano Cornelius Lockett was born on August 24, 1972, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia to the parents of Ms. Denise Worthy Smith and Mr. Willie Henry Lockett. He received his education in the Lamar County School System and graduated from the Lamar County Comprehensive High School with the Class of 1990. After high school, Cornelius entered the workforce; and his career choice was in the field of security. He was employed by Force Security as an officer. Desiring to be connected with Christ, he joined the Greater Rising Star Baptist Church, more affectionately known as The Love Center in Atlanta, GA. Cornelius was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a devoted friend to all. He never met a stranger and loved family gatherings. He had a passion for guns and spending countless hours at the gun range. He also loved electronics. Cornelius’ earthly journey came to an end on March 29, 2022. The Lord called his name, and his spirit took flight to his eternal resting place. Cornelius leaves a lifetime of memories in the hearts of his family including his loving wife, Janndalynn F. Lockett of Barnesville, GA; son, Christopher Smith of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Jacquoyia Bloodser of Barnesville, GA; mother, Denise Smith of Thomaston, GA; father, Willie Henry Lockett of Jeffersonville, GA; grandson, Master Ashton Bloodser of Barnesville, GA; brothers, Tremayne Barrett of Warner Robbins, GA, and Tico Lockett of Macon, GA; father-in-law Arthur Jerome Ogletree, Sr. of Barnesville, GA; brothers-in-law, Arthur J. (Diane) Ogletree, Jr. of Stockbridge, GA, and Zachery (Danielle) Ogletree of Eastvale, CA; aunts, Minnie McMullins and Ada Walker both of Barnesville, GA; Grace Fennelle of Macon, GA; Carolyn (Al) Hannon of Hoover, AL, Peggy Ahmed of Griffin, GA; Sandra (Wilton) Pate of Forest Park, GA and Rosalyn (Earl) Thornton of Kathleen, GA; uncles, Anthony Bruce (Dorothy) Ogletree of Riverdale, GA, Samuel Freeman of College Park, GA and Willie B. Foster of Barnesville, GA; and a host of other family members and many devoted friends and co-workers who will cherish his memory.
