William Edward Hicks, Sr., 80, of North Chesterfield, departed this life April 2, 2022. Surviving are his devoted wife, Reverend Jerline Somerville Hicks; six children, Betty Lundy, Angela B. Walthall, Wayne Rivers, Tracey Hicks, William E. Hicks, Jr. (Juliana), and Latoya Somerville; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys Whitehead, Margaret Jackson and Amelia Lindsey; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Scott's Chapel 116 E.
