Obituary For Kathy Doty

Mrs. Kathy Gayle Doty, 64, of Elizabethtown, KY died on April 2, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Doty was a native of Ozark, AL and the daughter of Robert & Betty Newman. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Mrs. Doty was a veteran of the U. S. Army and member of the Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Newman, Sr. and one brother, Donny Ray Newman.

In addition to her mother, Betty Harper, of Ozark, AL, she is survived by her husband, Vincent K. Doty of Elizabethtown, KY; two sons, Vincent K. Doty, Jr., and Kirk R. Doty (Kari) both of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren, Hannah and Lydia Doty of Louisville, KY and two brothers, Robert L. Newman, Jr. and Quenton Harper both of Ozark, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Monday, April 11, 2022, and visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Willingham officiating.

Burial with military honors is 11:00 am on April 12, 2022 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.

Cousin Kathy you will truly be missed. My mom gave me Kathy's middle name. Kathy always had a sweet spirit, kind and giving spirit. I'm 50 yrs old and I still have the stuff snoopy toy that she gave me as a child. RIH my angel.
