Obituary For Theodore Wilson Edgerton, Sr.

Mr. Theodore Wilson Edgerton, Sr., was born April 20, 1940, in East Durham, NC. He was educated in the Durham County Schools and attended Merrick-Moore. He was a retired builder/carpenter. Sunset was Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Kimberly Edgerton-Stafford (Ronald) of the home in Efland, North Carolina, Lakeisha Faulks-Tate (Ron) of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Sherry Burnett of Boston, Massachusetts; three sons, Theodore Edgerton, Jr. of Ormond Beach, Florida, Phillip Edgerton of Durham, North Carolina, and Douglas Burnett, of Raleigh, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Jaqueta Abbey, Jennika Edgerton, Ashley Foster (Marcus), Eboni Edgerton, Danielle Levien (Ethan), Tyra Davis, Taquera Davis, Tionne Davis, and Jonathan Lyons; two great-grandchildren, Faith Edgerton and Eden Levien; one sister, Eula "Sis" E. Bridges of Durham, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Mt. Calvary UCC, 1715 Athens Ave. Durham, NC. Family Hour: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Celebration: 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Masks are to be worn and social distancing required at all meetings with family and friends.
