Julia Ann Price was born July 26, 1951, in Leaksville (now Eden, NC). Julia was the third child of the late Charles Price and Martha Cole Price.
Julia was of the Methodist faith. In her younger years she worked in the textile industry, but her passion was cooking, so she worked in the restaurant business as a cook the remainder of her work life. “Ju” as she was called by family and friends along with loving to cook, listened to music, working search word puzzles. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was very witty, her favorite response upon being told – I love you was “I love me, too”. She was also the official family historian, remembering names and events that others had long forgotten. Her sense of human and caring personality will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Julia was also preceded in death by two siblings, Brenda Price Casey and James Anthony Price.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her son; Jemelle Price and fiancé, Camika Martin, grandson; Jemelle Price, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, brothers; Charles Pric4e, III (Gail), Stanford Price (Diane), sister; Stephanie Price and a host of nieces and nephews.
