Alvenus Burt, 71 of Holly Springs, NC passed on April 10, 2022 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Alvenus leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Tiffany Belghmi (Mohamed) of Raleigh, NC, Daris Burt of the home; one sister, Jean Mangum (Wayne) of Raleigh, NC, three brothers, Wade Burt (Jackie) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Dennis Burt of Holly Springs, NC, and Aaron Burt of Raleigh, NC. Three grandchildren, Ayanna Cotton, Mariah and Omar Zrirak. One great-grandchild, Navianna Cotton-Butler. Three aunts, Glossie Joyner of Baltimore, MD, Orlean Newton of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Geneva Chesley of Washington, DC; one uncle, Rommie Burt, Jr. of Angier, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Funeral will be held 1:00 pm Friday, April 15, 2022 at First Baptist Church Holly Springs, 208 Grisby Avenue in Holly Springs, NC 27540. First Baptist will live stream the service on their Facebook Page Friday. Due to COVID-19, the attendance will be limited and First Baptist want others to be able to view her Homegoing Service. Masks will be required in order to attend the visitation and funeral service.

At the family's request, Due to Covid-19 there will be limited visitation inside the home. There will be chairs set up outside for those that would like to come by and show your respect to the family. They thank you for your thoughts and prayers and Mask are required.
