Obituary For Charles "Chuck" Aaron Franklin

Charles Aaron Franklin "Chuck", 46, of Steelton, PA, transitioned on Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born in Harrisburg, son of Kathy M. Carter Franklin and the late Eugene Franklin, attended Steelton-Highspire Elementary and Steelton-Highspire High School. As a Steelton Little league Raider Football player and Steel-High Roller, Chuck was known as a comic and a jokester. Chuck was a member of Monumental AME Church in Steelton, PA. In his youth, he participated in YPD, as an Usher, on the Choir and as a Cub Scout. His last employment was the Harrisburg News Company. He was a devoted son and friend to his mother, Kathy. Everyone knew his biggest accomplishment and pride was being an excellent father to his daughter, Deaira. Chuck was an avid Raiders fan and a lover of Dogs, Burger King, Dominoes Pizza and Cold Ones. A little known fact is his excellent artistic skills. His pencil drawings were beyond compare. He will be missed by his daughter, Deaira Franklin; his mother, Kathy M. Scott, both of Steelton; his brothers, Michael Franklin and Ryan Franklin, both of Harrisburg; his stepdaughter, Anasti Caesar; his cousin/brothers, Carl and Kasean; his aunts, Sharon, Karla, Marcie, Tish and Tyronda; his uncles, Alan, Dale, Hearst and Duane, Sr.; as well as his nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Chuck’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, April 14th in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home at 704 N. Front St., Steelton with public viewing 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. The Funeral Worship Service will be Private. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks for all attendees.
