Obituary For Mr. Eugene Jeff Cheeley

In profound sorrow we announce the passing of Mr. Eugene Jeff Cheeley. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022 1:00pm at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel. Viewing will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022 12noon-6pm at Grissom-Clark Funeral Home. Mr. Eugene Jeff Cheeley, 84, peacefully departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest on April 13, 2022 in Decatur, GA. Mr. Eugene Jeff Cheeley was born May 13, 1937 to the late Lillie Mae Cheeley and Mr. Charlie Hall of Sandersville, GA. He was educated in Washington County School System. He worked for Georgia World Congress Center for several years. He retired at Clairmount Oaks as a custodian. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving companion, Ms. Mary Frances Shurley; three loving sisters, Carrie Boss, Hattie Hall, and Lucille Doyle; his loving grandchildren, Kendick Hardman, Mr. and Mrs Charles Robinson (Nakeia), Anthony Clark, Jr., Jeremaine Clark, Shaquita Clark, (The Favorite), Jeremiah Jackson, Demarcus Holmes, Ravati Shurley; eleven (11) great-grands; special niece, Charlene Ellis and a host of other family and friends. Eugene Jeff Cheeley was thankful for all the people within his life. A special thanks to Mary Frances Shurley, Nakeia Robinson, Ravati Shurley, and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Clark (Cynthia) for taking great care of “Jeff” in his time of need.
