Kimberly, we tearfully got through your passing, burial, your birthday, Easter, Mother's Day,Father's Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, my birthday, Thanksgiving, your Father's birthday, Christmas, and New Year. Just when we thought we may be all cried out, we get to do this all over again. You have left us with so many wonderful memories, pictures, videos, and other artifacts. And, believe it or not, you are still being memorialized. San Gabriel Vector Control has renamed the Surveillance Lab the Nelson Surveillance Lab with a brass plaque at the entrance in memory of you. We received a glass replicable of what was placed on the lab. Not a day goes back without me thinking of you. You are missed so much.

Dearest Kim, you will be forever missed. Your light and energy shines bright within Ashley. My earliest memories of you are of a devoted, loving and caring mother. Your touch of love is not lost but will always live on in your beautiful daughter. Thank you for bringing so much love and joy to this world. May God continue to shine over you and Ashley. β€”Miriam, Randy, Roya and Mina Robinson

Dearest Kim! Your were like a ray of sunshine. You smile could truly light up a room. Our talks were always met with laughter, even when I didn't feel like laughing. You would use Ashley to try to con me into baking something that she liked, but I always knew it would be for you. When I brought that to your attention I, you would smile and mischievous laugh. I made Snickerdoodles in your honor. You will be missed, but never forgotten. Your memory will live in our hearts for ever! Love you, Tracey Brown on behalf of the Brown/Rodgers family.

Kimberly, I loved you like you were my blood cousin. We spoke often and never missed a beat with each other. We spoke about me and the kids coming home to see you and the rest of the family this year. I was really looking forward to it. I will cherish every conversation and moments we shared together. Love you my beautiful cousin! Ashley and your parents are in my prayers. Love you all! πŸ’—πŸ™πŸΎ ~Dee

To: Ashley, Erica and the family of Kimberly Nelson. My condolences to you all. I met Kim a few years ago when Erica brought her and Ashley to our church. She was most pleasant with an infectious smile. No doubt, God let it be so that she would hear me share the Gospel with Ashley, thus come to know them both on a personal level. We also prayed and later talked and laughed about something either I or Ashley said. The Bible is clear when it asks the question, "For what is your life? It is a vapor, that appears for a little while, and vanishes away" (James 4:14). While Kim is no longer with us, the memories of her will remain. God allowed her to be with us for the time He ordained, and now we must prepare to adjust to life without her. We thank God for allowing Kim to come into our lives. Let's continue to pour our love, encouragement and affection into her beautiful daughter, Ashley, whom God has created for His glory. May the Lord uphold you all in His peace and may His Spirit bring you continued comfort. Pastor Josh

Kim, you are one smart and beautiful young lady and all the memories that were sent to during field and outings I will always remember. The fun we had at reunions and how you tormented my baby. Kim, I'll always cherish the times we shared together at the salon. You were more than a client you grew to be a genuine friend whom I truly adored. I will miss the laughs and smiles we shared. Until we meet again. πŸ¦‹πŸ¦‹πŸ¦‹πŸ¦‹Your friend and hairstylist Tomoyo

Dear Sweet Kimberly, The last time our families got together, you, me, and Ashley took a selfie together. The last time we texted, you told me you loved and missed me, and I responded in kind, and said I hoped our families would be able to get together again soon. As much as it hurts to know I'll never get that opportunity again, I will hold on to the moments we created in my heart. An angel got her wings. πŸ™πŸΎ Love "Auntie" Tammy
