Obituary For Carolyn "CC" S. Bryant

Obituary

Carolyn Stevens Bryant was born on May 14, 1963, to Frances Stevens and the late Wiley O’Neal in Thomasville, GA. She was the ninth of ten children born to Frances Stevens. She passed away April 5, 2022, in McDonough, GA.

In June 1982, she graduated from Central High School in Thomasville, GA. After high school, Carolyn attended Valdosta State College.

Throughout her life, she traveled extensively as a military wife working in various career pathways. Eventually, she became a successful Mary Kay Consultant and a Real Estate Agent with Metro Brokers.

To her family, friends, and fellow believers, she always had a smile on her face even when going through trials. She has often been described as sociable, upbeat, and friendly. She was one of the tidiest people you would ever meet. One of her favorite pasttimes was playing softball, especially during her youthful days. Her passions included caring for her Mother, helping others, and serving as a faithful, devoted Jehovah’s Witness. She greatly enjoyed serving her Grand Creator, Jehovah God, and engaging as a volunteer in the Christian ministry. Later in life, she developed an interest in gardening. Her caring and beautiful spirit will continue to live on through the memories of all who knew her.

Her daughter, Tiffany Smith, and her siblings, Sylvester (Bear) Stevens and Daniel (Lil Man) Stevens, preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, James R. Bryant; son, Brandon Smith; mother, Frances Stevens; siblings, Rosa L. James, John (Bud) H. Graham (Cynthia), Mary A. Jupiter, Charlie Stevens (Brenda), Barbara Alford (Nathaniel), Mae F. Bevard (John), and Ronnie Stevens (Mona); grandson, Isaiah Smith; loving nieces, Danielle Hutto and Briana Sapp; brothers-inlaw, Michael Bryant (Debra) and Jeffrey Bryant (Chanda); caring and supportive friends, Patricia Choice, Tammy Thomas, Katrina Lewis, Alice Stephens, Johnny Bevard, and Andre Dismuke; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.

Her faithful and kind caregivers included Barbara Alford (sister), Mary A. Jupiter (sister), Sherika Bevard (niece), Jacqueline Bryant (mother-in-law), Deborah Bryant (sister-in-law), Patrice Bryant (sister-in-law), and Gregory L. Flanders, Jr., (nephew). Special thanks and recognition to her brother, John (Bud) H. Graham, for his loving care and concern throughout the years.

Graveside services will be Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1PM at Magnolia Cemetery in Thomasville, GA with Billy Green, officiating. Visitation will be Friday at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 3PM-7PM. Visit this website to view a livestream of the service on Saturday at 1PM.
