Dorothy A. Carter, 98, of Richmond, died April 17, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard C. Carter, Sr.; daughter, Comora A. Motley and son, Bernard C. Carter, Jr. Surviving are 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, April 25 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E.
