Lucy Mae "Rainbow" Harper Ricks, 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Funeral serive will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022 at New Mt. Zion Holy Church, 8219 Red Oak Battleboro Rd, Battleboro, NC. with Pastor Cornell Battle, officiating.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Prayers to the Ricks Family. I can hear her singing " If you live right, heaven belong to you." I can hear her saying, "Put on the whole armor of God." She labored in the vineyard a long time now she has gone to get her reward. New Mount Zion lost a jewel and your presence will be missed. Family and friends we must continue to look to hills and God will give us all that we need to endure this difficult time.
