His service is 1:00 PM, Monday, April 25, 2022 at Oscar's Mortuary. The interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Gloria West Gooding, Dover; children, Monquell Jenkins, New Bern, Nelson West, Dover, NC; Zukelia West, New Bern, Ta'Kara Hargett, New Bern; six brothers, John Fisher, Richard Fonville, Robert Fonville, McKinley Fonville, Lester Fonville, Nathaniel Fonville; two sisters, Beverly Fisher and Fairlena Fonville; three grandchildren.
