Obituary For Ervin Evans, Sr.

Mr. Ervin Evans was born August 27, 1952 to the late Mr. Eddie Evans, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lou Ethel Wrice Evans of Quitman, Georgia.

He transitioned this life on April 17, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Ervin Evans attended Brooks County School. He joined the House of God Church in Quitman, Georgia at an early age. He worked for the City of Quitman until he retired after 35 years in 2010.

Mr. Ervin was preceded in death by his Father Eddie Evans, Sr., his Mother Lou Ethel Wrice Evans, his Sister Shirley Walker Ray, his Brothers, Charles Evans, Joseph Evans, Sr., Eddie Evans Jr, Aresta Evans and Joe Mobley.

He was blessed with 3 Daughters, Joyce Vinson (Demetrice) Quitman, GA, Angela Evans of Douglasville GA, and Lakeisha Evans of Ft Lauderdale, FL and 6 Sons, Ervin Lamonte Evans and Steven Evans of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Prince Evans (Denise) of Boston, GA, Ervin Jerome Evans and Ivan Tremayne Evans of Quitman, GA, Step-Son, Kendrick Tim, Sr. of Quitman GA; 31 Grandkids and 6 Great Grandkids; Sisters, Janie Ruth Walker Spencer of Valdosta, GA, Eddie Jean Evans Torrence and Naomi Evans Brooks of Quitman GA; A loving Brother-in-law William “Bill” Ray of Quitman GA and Sister-in-law Merry Mobley of Miami FL; Special friends, Robert Goins and Richard Denson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Ervin Evans, Sr. will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel; Family Visitation: Friday, April 23, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 PM in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel.
