Graveside service for Ruth Spratling, 89, of Camp Hill, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2022, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1545 County Road 002, Waverly, AL 36879, Reverend Melvin Kelley, Pastor and Reverend Henry Cooper, Eulogist.

Mrs. Spratling, who passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Dadeville Health Care Center in Dadeville, AL, was born January 21, 1933 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

She leaves to cherish her memory: four daughters, Earlene Spratling Johnson of Mobile, AL, Angela Spratling, Emily (Reverend Edward) Milner both of Camp Hill, AL and Sylvia Spratling of Jacksonville, FL; nine grandchildren, Daniel A. (Sandra) Spratling, Ebony (Mario) Jackson, Natalie (Kahului) Brooks all of Camp Hill, AL, Kimberly Andrews of Tuscaloosa, AL, Rachel (Jason) Pitts of Jacksonville FL, Victoria (Willis) Holloway of Clovis, NM, Jeffrey Johnson, Jason (Markeya) Johnson, and Javaris Johnson all of Mobile, AL; sixteen great-grandchildren, Kandyce Woodcock, Jason Pitts, Jr., Adam Hatchett, Omar Diamond, Jada Pitts, Tayvion Holloway, Olivia Wilson, Daniel Spratling III, Ayden Holloway, Jordin Pitts, Domonique Spratling, Jacelyn Johnson, Jaylen Holloway, Naomi Brooks, Jayce Johnson and Jayla Pettway; one great-great-grandchild, Kadance Armstrong; one sister, Minnie (Joe) Mackey of Cusseta, AL; one brother, Reverend Thomas (Bernice) Calloway of Opelika, AL; four sisters-in-law, Emory Jean Calloway of Valley, AL, Christine Calloway of Lagrange, GA, Carrie Spratling Davenport of Batesburg, SC and Charlene Spratling Sailor of Hartford, CT; a host of special nieces, nephews, adopted children and friends.
