Obituary For Charles Lockett

Charles Lockett was born on April 24, 1948, in Harlem, New York to teenage parents and raised by his grandparents Clarence Sr. and Enjoy Lockett. Charles and his younger sister Threresa (called "Keda") were both raised devout Catholics in the East Harlem and South Bronx neighborhoods of New York City. They were educated in the New York City public school system and received religious training, Baptism, and Communion at their local parish. He is survived by his three daughter: Nascha, Jazmine, and Jacqui, and a granddaughter, Faith. He loved and cherished all of his children and grandchild and was very proud of them. HE loved to talk about his "three girls." His sister, parents, and grandparents all preceded him in death. In addition to his children, he also leaves behind his ex-wife Betty Lockett of New York, NY, aunts Lorraine King of South Richmond Hill, NY, and Marlene "Ducky" Lowry of Jamaica, NY. Also cousin Gioria Land of West New York NJ, Geln ("Skipper") of Florida, Clare, Carl ("Glen"), Kimella ("Kim"), Carolyn and Darshan, and many more in the New York area.
